Quartz: 
Quartz Hardsurfaces are made by a process that consists of blending pulverized natural stone aggregate with a mix of polymers, removing the air, then heating and shaping the material into slabs. The end result? Beautiful, non-porous surfaces that have the hardness and look of natural stone (as well as some entirely unique visuals). An added bonus? It's green! Most of the materials that form the base of quartz countertops are all waste by-products of other quarrying or manufacturing processes. No natural stone is quarried solely for use in quartz countertops, and even the resins that comprise part of a quartz countertop have become more natural and less synthetic.

Granite:
Granite is a stunning, durable hardsurface option that has continued to gain traction and popularity since the late 1980s. It’s a natural stone, quarried from large igneous stone deposits found around the world. It begins as molten magma that flows into other rock structures and cools slowly, through a process that took millions of years and produced an extremely hard and durable stone. The stone is naturally quite rough, but when it is ground and polished during the countertop manufacturing process, it takes on a smooth surface with a rich luster.
Granite is comprised of many different minerals that give each countertop slab a unique beauty. For example; Mica produces brown and black veining, Feldspar has rich red or pink highlights, and Quartz gives pink, white or black hues to the stone!
The inherent variations in pattern and color throughout the stone gives slabs character that differentiates it from others. For this reason, it’s important to select slabs quarried from the same stone to ensure that the color and veining are similar. Choosing the right shade and appearance from the myriad of options out there is part of the fun!

Laminate:
Laminate is a man-made hardsurface option that comes in a myriad of styles and colors. Don’t let the low pricing fool you -  there’s a wide range of sharp and realistic visuals that give you a practical and long-lasting countertop. It’s non-porous and super stain resistant, often coming with built-in anti-microbial properties. Laminate’s low-maintenance and versatility make it the perfect solution for any room!

Cultured Marble:
Cultured marble is a blend of stone particles and resins that is combined with pigments to produce a wide range of colors and realistic, natural looking patterns – cultured marble, cultured granite, and cultured onyx being among them.
